Preparing for El Camino - Hi

www.leadershipdimensions.co.za

OK, so now I am doing this!!  El Camino has been something that I have wanted to do for a very long time.  No, not really as a pilgrimage but more as a challenge to my legs.  You see, since I was a child I have had painful legs.  Over and above that, every time I have heard of someone having done El Camino they have come back with amazing stories of self-discovery, self-endurance and self-mastery.  For you to go beyond the comfortable, beyond the normal, beyond the self for me is the essence of why we are here.  Why would anyone want to be stuck in what you already know?  Why would you want to be living your life without pushing self forward into a new territory of experience.  So I have done the fire walking, arrow breaking, iron pole bending - now it is time to take these legs on a 230km walk along the western coast of Portugal and into the top of Spain.  In preparation for this walk, I am going to share with you what I am learning along the way.  I hope you will accompany me in this process - who knows, you may one day decide to take the challenge of such an adventure for what ever reasons you may have - or just for the simple joy of being "crazy, out of your mind or just stupid" - I say go for it anyway!
